We know we have some fabulous photographers among you, so please tag any photos of the wedding that you post to facebook and instagram with #mooregutwedding so they're searchable! We won't be able to wait for our photographers' photos to be ready and will want to pore over all of your photos while on our honeymoon!
The Palm House

We are thrilled to hold our wedding in the borough where we are starting our lives together.

Where: The Palm House At The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn, New York
When: Saturday, October 18, 2014 - 5:30pm
Other information:
- The ceremony will take place outside on grass, weather permitting, so please be prepared.
- Black Tie Welcome! If you have a tuxedo, and would like to wear it, please do so! If you do not have a tuxedo, you will not be underdressed.
- We encourage you to use #mooregutwedding on all facebook and Instagram posts, but ask you to kindly refrain from stepping into the aisle to take pictures during the ceremony. We have a professional for that!

While many of our guests are local, we know that some of you will be travelling to join us for this celebration. Here are a selection of hotels that are convenient to the ceremony and relatively affordable. There are myriad hotels in New York, so the selection that follows is but a drop in the bucket.

In Brooklyn: McCarren Hotel, Wythe Hotel, NU Hotel, New York Marriot at the Brooklyn Bridge.
In Manhattan: Hilton Millenium, Holiday Inn Soho.

Fun Fact: Our backyard compost is donated to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. So the flowers in bloom at our wedding could have very well been fertilized by our scrap food!
